The design originates from 19th century France, first composed by Adrien Vachette, a skilled french goldsmith and an official Jeweller of King Louis XVIII's court. The chain and cross are both made of gold vermeil. The pendant comes in a convenient size of 2.4cm / 0.94" and the necklace comes with an adjustable princess fit length. It is hypoallergenic, waterproof, and doesn't fade or lose color even in daily use.
The Miraculous Medal, also known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception, is one of the most popular religious amulets produced in history. The front side depicts the Blessed Virgin Mary in an oval frame, surrounded by the words Ô Marie, conçue sans péché, priez pour nous qui avons recours à vous (O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee).
